Saturday 9 December
Our optional excursion will today take us to see the Christmas markets in Innsbruck, counted amongst some of the most beautiful and romantic in the entire Alpine region. The market stalls in the Old Town are nestled between attractive medieval buildings and the Golden Roof. These stalls are a treasure trove for Christmas tree decorations. Austrian brass bands play traditional Christmas music from the Golden Roof and give the market a truly special feel. Innsbruck’s main shopping street will once again dazzle visitors at the Maria Theresien Street Christmas market. The street is lined by trees covered in tiny, sparkling light and the stalls offer winter cuisine and great gift ideas. Dinner at the hotel (extra).

Ortisei leaves everyone breathless with the beauty and harmony of the little mountain huts spread all around the village centre. Dinner in the hotel (extra).
