Flight with Airmalta direct to Cairo, departure at 23.40.



Upon arrival in Cairo at 02.15, meet with our representative, transfer to hotel for check in. Rest until time of breakfast. To be followed by a full day excursion to the Great Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza and The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, housing among others the treasures found in the tomb of Tutankhamen. Free time for lunch. Return to hotel. Free evening or take Optional: Dinner on a floating restaurant with a folklore show including a belly dancer and Tannura (spinner).


Breakfast. Day at leisure or Optional: Full day excursion to the Royal Necropolis of Sakkara where the step-pyramid of Pharaoh Zoser is found & Memphis where lies the biggest statue of Ramses II, visit a papyrus and perfume factory. Continue to The Citadel of Saladin, built as a fortress in the 12 th century. Continue for a short visit to the Old Bazaar of Khan El Khalili; wander through the maze of narrow winding streets of this unique open air bazaar. Free time for lunch. Return to hotel for overnight.


Transfer to airport for flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, meet with our representative, transfer to cruise. Visit Philae Temple, dedicated to Goddess Isis, the unfinished Obelisk and enjoy a felucca ride. Check-in, lunch, dinner and Overnight on board.


Early visit by bus to the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel dedicated to King Ramses II and his Queen wife Nefertari. Return in time for lunch. Sailing starts towards Kom Ombo (60 km) where a visit to the temple shared by two Gods, Sobek the Crocodile God and Haroeris, the Falcon God is included. During the night, sailing continues up to Edfu. After dinner, join the fun on board at the Galabeya party wearing traditional Egyptian costumes, while being entertained by the resident band on board, very original and a lots of fun. Overnight.


Early visit to the Temple of Horus son of Isis and Osiris in Edfu by horse drawn carriages. This is probably the best-preserved major temple in Egypt. During the day, we sail towards Luxor via the Esna lock (120Km). Do not miss the crossing of the lock, which can take place anytime. Dinner on board. Evening is at leisure during which one can relish breath-taking views of the Nile Valley.


Breakfast, proceed to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, entrance to three tombs included. Along the sides, is the Necropolis of Thebes, where the Valley of the Kings and the lesser-known Valley of the Queens make up part of the huge “City of The Dead” where the Pharaohs, their queens and the nobles of the 2 nd millennium BC were buried in full religious ceremonial trappings; visit Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch and proceed to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples. The highlight 2 of this tour is the largest surviving obelisk in Egypt, the Theban trinity of gods, and the amazing Great Hypostyle Hall, with its 134-colomns.
After the tour continue to Luxor airport for flight to Cairo. Upon arrival transfer and check-in hotel, overnight in Cairo.


Breakfast. Day at leisure or Optional half day to Coptic Cairo or full day to Alexandria or Fayoum Lake and Wadi Rayan safari.
Return to hotel. Free time to rest and get ready for the transfer to the airport at 23.45 in time for flight on Wednesday at 03.15.

Full day Fayoum Oasis and Wadi Rayan safari with lunch:

Early morning pick by your tour guide, in an air conditioned vehicle proceed  towards Fayoum oasis, about 95km. Fayoum  was considered as a cult center for worshipping The Crocodile God “Sobek” during the ancient Egyptians era.
Upon arrival you see the largest lake in Egypt Qaron’s Lake, it’s also considered the oldest natural lake in the world. The scenery here is magnificent – watch the winter migrating birds around the lake and the different kinds of fruit and vegetables. Continue to Wadi al-Rayan to see the waterfalls between the upper
and lower lakes , here has been designated a Protected Area since 1989. At Wadi Al-Hitan, the Whale Valley you see whale fossils inside and outside the museum. Enjoy the safari adventure in a 4 x 4 wheel drive — an amazing and exhilarating soft day trip adventure. Return to hotel for overnight.

Full day Alexandria with seafood lunch:

Visiting the Library, Kom el Shuqqafa catacombs, The Roman amphitheater and outside viewing of Qayet bey fort. Return to hotel for overnight.
